Softball announces 10 early signees

Lamar Community College softball announced 10 early signees to their 2018-19 freshman class.

The Lopes will add six Colorado high school products, along with two from Nevada and one each from Hawaii and New Mexico.



Alicia Fraire -- Eaglecrest High School, CO

Alicia is a tue outfielder and slapper who will provide speed in the line up for the Runnin' Lopes. As a senior, she received 1st-team All Centennial League honors as an outfielder, hitting .380 with an on-base percent of .457. 


Rheanna Will -- Fossil Ridge High School, CO

Rheanna is a strong middle infielder joining the Runnin' Lopes next fall. This year she helped lead her high school team to 2nd place in 5A state tournament with a batting average of .373 and 27 RBIs on the season.


Katelyn Reagin -- Frederick High School, CO

Katelyn is one of three Frederick High School graduates that will being joining the Runnin' Lopes roster next season. Reagin is a pitcher with strong movement and good ball control who will be a great asset in the circle and can also play a solid first base.


Katlynn Silva -- Miyamura High School, NM

Katlynn is a recruit  from Gallup, New Mexico who will contribute a dynamic bat to our program. Last high school season she hit .597 and led her team with 6 home runs. Katlynn will also provide some innings in the circle for LCC and plays first base.


Kaeley Roldan -- Cimarron Memorial High School, Nevada

Kaeley is an aggressive utility player who will be joining the Runnin' Lopes from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her grit allows her to be a dynamic player behind the plate and in the field, while offensively she is a threat on both sides of the plate.


Kayla Hensley -- Waianae High School, Hawaii

Kayla is a recruit from the Hawaii who will contribute strength and athleticism to the our roster. Hensely is a true utility player who has a big swing and can hit the ball over the fence. She will contribute to LCC as a middle infielder and her versatility help provide depth to our team.


Brittlyn Massey -- Frederick High School, Colorado

Brittlyn is another Frederick High School graduate that will be joining us next fall, along with her twin sister Madalyn. Brittlyn is a quick middle infielder/outfielder and a lefty slapper at the plate. Her senior year, she finished the high school season with 20 stolen bases, a .438 batting average and an on base percentage of .477.


Madalyn Massey -- Frederick High School, Colorado

Madalyn is the final Frederick High School recruit who will be attending LCC with her sister Brittlyn. Madalyn is also a lefty slapper who will provide great speed and agility in the outfield. Madalyn led her high school team with 37 hits her senior year and also contributed 24 RBIs with an on-base percentage of .481.


Soraya Seumalo -- Liberty High School, Nevada

Soraya is the second LCC recruit from Las Vegas to join our roster next fall. Seumalo is a pitcher with a big bat whose strong work ethic and talent will provide more depth in the circle for the Lopes.


Kaitlyn Rickey -- Lakewood High School, Colorado

Kaitlyn is a well rounded utility player who is able to play outfield or infield. Her arm strength and quickness make her a defense threat that we are excited to have in our program.
