Final Results – NPCC Men’s Fall Invite
Your LCC Runnin’ Lopes battled hard this week at the NPCC Men’s Fall Invite but ultimately came up just short of making up ground on Eastern Wyoming, finishing in 2nd place as a team for the second straight week.
The highlight of the week came from freshman Cody Shatzer, who captured medalist honors with rounds of 69 and 75 (144), edging out Eastern Wyoming’s Troy Young (73-72) by just one shot. With the victory, Cody becomes the overall points leader in District 9 after three events, collecting 21 points—four points clear of Eastern Wyoming’s Jamie Lambert and Ben Brown (17 points each).
The Lopes also had another strong performance from freshman Parker Shirola, who carded rounds of 76-73 (149) to finish in solo 6th place. Despite missing the opening event of the season, Parker has already compiled 8 points and sits in 8th place overall in the division.

Preston Buchner – 77-87 (164), T24th
Preston Peters – 84-85 (169), 28th
The Lopes posted team scores of 299-313 (612), securing a strong 2nd place finish.
